We now have picosecond and nanosecond technology with 4 different wavelengths available making us the best-equipped laser tattoo removal clinic in the North.

While our current Q-switched lasers produce amazing results, we understand that some tattoos can be particularly difficult to remove, and alternative technology is sometimes required. This is where the PicoSure laser comes in - with its advanced technology, it is particularly effective at removing traditionally difficult colours like purples, greens and blues as well as black and grey ink.

But what exactly is the PicoSure laser? And how does it work?

The PicoSure laser uses super-fast picosecond technology to deliver laser energy to the skin. This technology allows the laser to break up tattoo ink particles into much smaller fragments than traditional laser tattoo removal devices. This makes it easier for the body to naturally remove the ink, resulting in faster and more effective results.

One of the biggest advantages of the PicoSure laser is that it can remove tattoos in fewer sessions than traditional laser tattoo removal devices. This means that clients can see results faster and with fewer treatments overall. This is particularly helpful for those with busy schedules who want to see results as quickly as possible.

Our Q-switched lasers are a very effective treatment option for tattoo removal, and we will continue to use these where required. The PicoSure laser is simply an additional option that may be more appropriate for some tattoos.
